Washington Mutual or  as others call it WAMU, that doesn’t matter it’s gone now.

JPMorgan got it for a easy 1.9 Billion from the FDIC which seized it. The shareholders were left with nothing. This was the biggest Bank failure in history. How many of you are mad that the media kept saying that this bank cant fail? So obviously a lot of people thought this would be a bargain stock. I know my dad did. He put a lot of money into it the day before WAMU failed. After losing all he put into it, my family feels bad but we know we cant just dwell on the loss. This is a big loss but we can sustain our current lifestyle because we own a Deli business. Dont get me wrong I can’t just forget about the loss, I mean it was alot. We could of bought something with it, maybe an apartment. We’ll just not let it have a negative impact on us, after all health is more important. As of now my dad will never put money in the Stock Market. Me personally i’m still investing because I have had a good experience with the Stock Market, and plus there are some major bargain stocks for the long term during this financial crisis. I’m 18 and I wanna invest for my future. (I MIGHT PUT UP A BLOG OF GOOD LONG TERM STOCKS, IF ANYBODY IS INTERESTED KEEP CHECKING THIS BLOG FOR A LINK TO IT.)  Any way enough about me I want you guys to express your feelings on Washington Mutual. Tell us about your losses, your feelings on the bank failing, on how the media failed us, etc. The best way to feel good after all this is to let your feelings out by telling somebody about it.
